Praan ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Praan mobile application and the website praan.fit (collectively, the "Service"). Praan is a food health scoring app built for Indian consumers — it lets you scan any packaged food barcode to get an instant health score (0–100), decode ingredients and additives, and find healthier alternatives.

4.1 We Do NOT Sell Your Data

We will never sell your personal information to third parties. Period. Your data is not a revenue source for Praan.

4.3 Anonymized and Aggregated Data

We may share anonymized, aggregated data for research and public interest purposes. For example, we might publish insights like "40% of scanned snacks in India score below 30 on health parameters" — but this data is always stripped of any personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to individual users.

If you sign in with Google, your authentication is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We receive only the information described in Section 2.1 and do not have access to your Google account beyond the basic profile scope.

6.1 Access Your Data

You can view all the data we hold about you — including your profile information, scan history, and saved products — directly within the Praan app. You may also request a complete copy of your data by emailing us.

6.2 Delete Your Account and Data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from the app settings. Upon deletion, we permanently remove your profile information, scan history, and saved products from our servers. This action is irreversible.

6.3 Export Your Scan History

You can export your complete scan history as a downloadable file from the app. This allows you to keep a personal copy of your data before deleting your account, or simply for your own records.

6.4 Opt Out of Analytics

You can opt out of anonymous analytics data collection from the app settings. Opting out will not affect the core functionality of the app — you can still scan products, view scores, and access all features.

Praan is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
